A UGC- sponsored National Seminar on 'Sustainable Environment Protection through Green Energy' on 27th & 28th February 2015 was organised along with NGC & Renewable Energy dept.
A One-day seminar on 'Green Technology- A way to Environmental Resilience' was organized along with NGC and Botany on 4th February, 2015. Dr. Prabhat Kumar Pankaj, Senior Scientist (LPM), Central Research Institute of Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad, was the resource person.

A Guest lecture on Scope of Biology in Research was organized along with Botany and NGC on 28th January, 2015 at IN-7.
A Guest lecture on “Role of Medicinal plants in Pollution control” by Dr.D.Sirisha, Head, Department of Environmental Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Studies, Hyderabad on 28^th August, 2014 as part of Environmental Awareness Week organized along with NGC and Botany department.
